After two decades of producing joy for millions worldwide, Nicole Feld Strauss realized she was following someone else’s script. The pandemic pause gave her clarity to write her own next act—and help other women do the same.

Meet THE CHIEF PIVOTER

After more than two decades of creating memorable moments for audiences worldwide through my family's entertainment business, I found myself asking: whose dream was I really bringing to life? While I'd mastered the art of producing joy for others, I realized I was following someone else's script.

Then, in March 2020, the global shutdown brought everything to a halt. The cessation of live entertainment and the demands of remote schooling were immense pressures, yet they offered a hidden blessing. This pause allowed me to reevaluate my life, reconnect with my true ambitions, and spend invaluable time with my family. It was a period of clarity and renewal, presenting an opportunity to pursue my dreams and set a better example for my kids. Deciding to slow down, I knew I couldn't simply remain idle.

Restarting was daunting, but for the first time, I had the freedom to choose my path. This newfound autonomy was both exhilarating and overwhelming. I turned to reading, journaling, and meticulous planning to chart a way forward. Embracing my own story and authenticity became the first step.

Social gatherings, once a source of anxiety when asked about my job, transformed into meaningful conversations as I began sharing what truly brought me joy and defined me. Through these interactions, I discovered that many successful women felt similarly unfulfilled, yearning for meaningful change but uncertain of where to begin. Inspired, I launched Pivot with Purpose—a community for women to share their journeys and collectively navigate the next phases of their lives.
